TMZ.Com has told us that Brittany Murphy‘s mom has just put her house up for sale — the house where Brittany died … TMZ has learned.

Simon Monjack tells us Sharon Murphy listed the house today for $7.25 million. The house, located in the Hollywood Hills, is 8,000 square feet on 1.29 acres.

Brittany bought the house for just under $4 million in 2003. She purchased the home from Britney Spears.

We’re told the title to the house is held in a blind trust, and Sharon is the sole trustee.

As we first reported, Brittany has left all of her assets to Sharon.

Monjack tells TMZ when the house is sold and Brittany’s estate is wrapped up, he and Sharon are moving to New York.

TMZ.Com tells us that sources involved in Brittany Murphy‘s autopsy tell TMZ her death was “preventable.”

Sources say the primary causes of Murphy’s death were pneumonia and severe anemia. L.A. County Coroner officials believe Brittany’s condition was “treatable” but no one took her to the hospital in time.

As for the multiple drugs found in her system, we’re told they were both prescription, including medicine for cramps, and over-the-counter medications, including cough syrup. Our sources say the drugs “pushed her over the line” but the underlying problems were the pneumonia and anemia.

In other words, Brittany was really sick, didn’t get treatment and by self-medicating it pushed her over the line.

TMZ.Com tells us that Brittany Murphy‘s husband has suddenly called off the fundraising party he was throwing in her honor tomorrow night — but the man who pulled the plug isn’t saying why.

Simon Monjack had planned a huge launch party Thursday night for his new Brittany Murphy Foundation — an organization he claims is dedicated to arts education for children. Monjack had been reportedly soliciting $1,000 donations per person to attend.

But just days before the big night, someone called the Beverly Hills Temple of the Arts — where the event was supposed to go down — and told the Rabbi to hold the Manischewitz… because the party was off.

We’re told Monjack insists the party was simply postponed — but so far, no new date has been set.

UPDATE: TMZ has learned guests for the event received the following email from someone at the Brittany Murphy Foundation, “So sorry but the memorial has been canceled due to an illness in the family.”

We spoke with Rabbi David Baron, who was supposed to conduct the memorial, who told us when the call came in, the person who canceled never gave a reason.

Its so sad to here news about a wonderful actress that had so much potential in her career. According to TMZ, they found a bunch of prescription drugs by her bed. It goes on saying that Murphy had not been feeling well and had stomach pains for 7 to 10 days.  No foul play is though out in this case.

They found the following drugs by her bed..  Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.

So sad news.. according to Empireonline.com, Brittany Murphy has died. The actress was 32 years old and was married to Simon Monjack.  The actress went into cardiac arrest early Sunday morning in LA, and, despite being rushed to hospital, she was dead on arrival. Her Mother found her laying in the shower.

She has had first big movie break in Clueless playing the role of Tai. Its so sad to hear this news. She had so much to offer the world.
