My Man is no longer single what a sad sad day it is. People.com tells us That was fast. Only a month after their engagement was confirmed, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have married.

The model, 27, and the British actor, 33, are now on their honeymoon, Kerr says in a statement that also explains the cancelation of her appearance at the Australian department store David Jones.

“David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together,” Kerr’s statement says. “I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life.”

The couple reportedly began dating in late 2007. “We were friends for a while and then it just developed into a little more,” she told Hello! magazine in September 2008, adding that Bloom asked her agent for her number – because she wouldn’t give it to him.

“At the time I was seeing someone else,” she explained.

Bloom and Kerr made their first public appearance in April 2008 at Sydney’s Doncaster Day at the Randwick Racecourse. That same weekend, the Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean actor also met her parents.

Last year, when the two spent Thanksgiving together in Morocco, Bloom told reporters he and Kerr were “just enjoying our time together now” when asked if they planned to wed anytime soon.
